Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kage mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Kage ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Eligibility and Account

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
  • Kage does not require a user account. If you contact support, you are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.

2) Subscriptions, Free Trials, and In‑App Purchases

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase.
  • If offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. If a price changes, it will be shown in‑app and you may cancel before renewal.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. See Apple's policies and support for refunds.
  • Purchase infrastructure may be provided by third parties (e.g., RevenueCat) to validate receipts and manage entitlements; they do not receive your full payment information from us.

3) License and Acceptable Use

  • We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the Service on devices you own or control and as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms.
  • You agree not to: reverse engineer the app; interfere with its operation; use it for unlawful purposes; or infringe the rights of others.
  • The app helps you manage your photo library. You are solely responsible for decisions to delete or modify content and for maintaining your own backups.

4) Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You may not use our trademarks, branding, or assets without our prior written consent.

5) Third‑Party Services

  • The Service may include third‑party services (e.g., advertising via Google AdMob, purchase management via RevenueCat). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.

6) Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be error‑free or uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected.

7) Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

8) Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9) Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

10) Changes to the Service and Terms

  • We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
  • You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts in the United Kingdom for disputes arising out of or relating to the Service.
